Well, the Station Fire continues to burn, but the LA Times reports that 144,000 acres of flames is 38% contained. This is huge. Mount Wilson is amazingly still hanging on, thanks to the work of those firefighters:

Also, today I got a newsletter in my email inbox from SmartBrief on Social Media and happened to click on the first article briefing: Tweeters Track California Fires. How surprised was I to find one of my tweets featured on page 3 of Newsweek online. Crazy.
