Once upon a time, I was a freshman in college, feeling the whole world laid out before me. I tried new things. I tried to be on the crew team. I only lasted three days, however, as the 4am practices were really stupid.
I tried my hand at indie broadcasting, and lasted about three years. Along with some friends, I was an over-enthusiastic DJ at UMBC’s campus radio, WMBC 560 am. I still have some of those embarrassing tapes hiding in boxes.

Jenelle, I love you. I love picturing you at 4 am crew practices. I also love this muxtape. I need some running music, and this is a good start. Help! I ran four miles on the treadmill today. (I know, treadmills are kind of lame, but they’re easy on the knees.) I’m rockin’, but in desperate need of a soundtrack.
