This weekend I took a little road trip to Santa Barbara with my favorite Australian, Sarita. So last night when I arrived at Westmont I surprised Trevor B. with large hugs and hoorays, as he did not know I was coming. It was exceedingly great, and the second time his lady Darrelle had managed to surprise him in four days.
This afternoon I got to see a sneak peek of the play that Elise adapted and is directing. She made the moon hang as a white tire in the sky. Her creations are good things for the world.
I’ve spent the better part of this day here in Java Jones studying for my OT Prophets class, but not without two somewhat major mishaps.
[One] Not twelve minutes ago, I accidental baptized both of my iPod earbuds in my half-caf chocolate java. It was a full immersion baptism. Oh Nelly.
[Two] On my way out here, I got off of the Westmont shuttle two miles too early, and proceeded to then miss my turn and walk past State Street by two miles. I ended up in some posh residential area, terribly lost, my old Reefs wearing thin and my face sunburning. (But the ocean was pretty.) It took me two hours later till I’d found a local bus that dropped me nearer civilization, but I didn’t have exact change for my fare. Thankfully I was saved by a gentle-man who gave me a dollar to help. I like men like you!
i liked you coming to visit me with messy hands.
thank you for loving my messy bowls &life.
This makes me wish that I could get lost in SB sometime soon. …did I mention that I will be there in less than 3 weeks. It would be fantastic to see you (but I know that you don’t live next door to SB or that you have loads of free time…)…let’s talk about this. 🙂 Miss you. sending love.
