I’ve been back in Portugal for just about a day or two and being here feels like waking up from a 3 hour nap when you’ve been accidentally exhausted. I pretty much can’t stop smiling. And it feels like home.
Also of note: the Cascais sunshine has caused me to want to tip-toe back into blogging. You know. That thing I used to do.
I’m heading to my old apartment to meet friends for dinner in São Pedro do Estoril. I could take the train but I’ll take the long walk there along the sea. (Google maps is lame and told me to walk along the Marginal highway? Pfffffshhht.)
There’s just so much to remember and so much to say “Obrigada, Deus” for and so much good ocean air to breathe. I really do wish you could walk there with me.
I wish I could walk there with you too Nelly! I often think about my one week visit to you in Portugal – one of the best times of my life! HAVE FUN!
Oh – and PS – I really want you to start blogging again. I miss your lovely words! And – your blogging always inspires me to get off my arse and blog myself! I’ll write more if you do! 🙂
ME TOO. BIG sigh. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed it enough for both of us!!
