One, I like simple songs with delicate hand-clapping.
Two, I like it when two people say “we’re in it for the long haul” and mean it.
Three, I like the new trend of stop motion genius that digital photographers and cinematographers are high-fiving to accomplish. Particularly because it is so almost minimalist. These folks at Dumais only used two (2??!?) cameras for this project. (Two actors had to stand still for 22 hours, too.) Imagine if someone crazy decided to do this with a feature-length film. That would be outrageous and wonderful and I hope it happens.
[Note: The real video ends after one minute, the rest is just well-placed and beautiful credits which are warranted, as the Vimeo site said it took a “72 hour work day” to complete this short film.]
