“Mystery should be a continual part of your life. You should always have more questions than answers. If your encounters with God don’t leave you with more questions than when you started, then you have had an inferior encounter.”
-Bill Johnson, The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind
I like that. I guess it fits with my thinking that the mystery of God (and his ways/the things he allows) is oddly comforting to me. I would not like to trust in something that my pea-brain could understand.
I agree with lisa. If I understood the mind of God, I would have to wonder about that…
Hey, Nelly, wouldn’t it be cool to hop on that plane with Jesse and Trevor and fly out for a hug from that pea-brain friend of ours! Sweet! I love your trust of our mysterious God, Nelly. You are giving us community is a way that we love. You share your joys, sweet smiles of things that God is gifting you in the sweet moment of now! We love that! Taking Bruce out for burgers…huge!! Giggling on our rug before a fire, being grateful for crack soup, taking Kenz out for house church, putting up with crazy fish loving Ziggy, …you are a bit of the mystery of Jesus to us. You are loved and enjoyed by us all! Has it really only been two months??! Amazing how quickly you feel like one of the best parts of us! Hugs to you, our amazing writer/blogger/editor/coffee making/bikeriding/follower of the mysterious Jesus that you are!!
