and now i feel a bit guilty. i voted for the mail delivery option and then i clicked on results… and it showed 100%!! ok, i know, i’m the only person whos voted so far, so whichever one i’d have voted for would have showed up as 100%, but even so… it still looks like i’m shouting *DO THE MAIL DELIVERY JOB!!* and i’m not really… i just thought it might be fun, strolling around the streets a bit, meeting people and all that. you could even pray a bit while you walked?
thanks for the link and the ‘Imaginary Friend’ comment on my blog, jenelle. hope to meet you one day. ;o)
jenelley,
i was on phil’s blog and saw a comment from a “jenelle.” could it be my jenelle? *click* yes, yes it is! I also voted the mail delivery w/o knowing phil’s vote…I like his reasons…of course, it is winter coming up…but it could still be fun! you could save the little kid getting beat on by the snowball bully…or perhaps you will meet an old granny who will ask you in for coffee and pie once a week. think about how often the mail carrier is used in movies/tv…it’s a rather famous position…at the moment, Mr. Rogers comes to mind. His mailman’s mail opened into a whole new adventure…maybe yours will do that?
I really want to vote twice to make Starbucks win, but I’ll resist. : )
Jenella Bella:
I think you would be fantastic at any of those positions. Too bad that you couldn’t have professional writer as a selection. That would really fit you. I love you no matter what you do.
i don’t know what GOD’S WILL is, but starbucks just sounded appealing!
how really, really funny that you didn’t believe in your own imaginary friend. this would explain to me why you don’t read the fantasy stories i tell you to read. and who believes in their imaginary friend? we are pretending, nelly! pretending!
I LOVE YOU, you little miss reality check!
for the record, I did believe in my imaginary friend! I just forgot her name. that just makes me a lame friend to my imaginary friend. (see Phil Togwell’s blog…)
On the other hand, my mom was a mail carrier for 10 years, and honestly that is a pretty sweet job. Props to whoever thought up the postal system. She had a beach route.
hmmm… let me know what you decide. i don think that starbucks sounds most apropriate.
what ever happened to golf teacher?
PS: i like that you are listening to thrice. i have a ticket to go see them in two weekend! but i have a test the next day at 8…what should i do nelly!?!?!?!
i think i wont be able to go, but hey, there will be more concerts…
I want to change my vote to mail carrier.
